Further terms for Landlords advertising properties on this website
It is the landlord’s responsibility to make sure that all personal and property particulars are correct. We are not responsible for any mis-descriptions that have been provided by you.
If you are a landlord, you cannot upload any corporate or other logo, image to your property description and your images you upload. You must not include your phone number, website address or email address to the property description.
We will review each portal before becoming live on the portals and our website. An email or call will be made to you to confirm all the information.
Landlord & Tenant disputes
Any dispute that arises between a landlord and tenant who have used our service will be resolved solely by the landlord and tenant. We are not responsible and shall have no liability for any disagreements or disputes that may arise throughout a tenancy term.
In the case of deposits held under a Deposit Protection Scheme (DPS), if We have collected the deposit on behalf of the landlord, We are deemed to have acted as ‘stakeholder’ so that in the event of any dispute, Support Move will take only such reasonable and appropriate action as may be determined by the relevant dispute resolution service in relation to the dispute.
Fees are collected upfront by Paypal for property advertising, Tenancy administration and viewings. Support Move reserve the right to charge the tenants fee in respect of referencing at £150 inc. VAT and £50 Inc. VAT for every other adult residing in the property. (Each tenant is referenced individually and if there is a guarantor involved as well they are also referenced and charged.)
All tenancy agreements will be drawn up using Support Move’s standard tenancy agreement and on the basis of the information supplied by the Landlord. Support Move do not hold any responsibility for any errors in the agreement due to faulty or missing information. Support Move accepts no responsibility for gas safety unless we are appointed to manage the property and in particular it is not our responsibility to make sure there is a valid gas safety certificate in place before occupation.
