STEP 2 Presenting Your Property for Photography:

First impressions count, so making your property in a suitable condition is critical for a successful let. Consider repairing any DIY jobs, a fresh coat of paint where necessary and a tidy garden. The Support Move team will be able to produce professional photographs in the first visit so it is ideal to have the property ready to go.


STEP 3 Marketing Your Property: Zoopla, board, newspaper:

To find your perfect tenant you need to give your property maximum exposure across a wide range of media and also affordable. We advertise in major portals and our brand new fresh website. Furthermore we have a client list of tenants waiting. A professional signboard to promote your property 24/7.


STEP 4 Accompanied Viewings:

A member of Support Move will accompany all viewings to help let your property so you don’t have to.

Our office is open 9am-5.30pm Monday to Friday and 9am-1pm Saturday.

STEP 5 Choosing the Right Tenant

Once you accept an offer we will do the following irrespective of whether your property is managed:

  • Collect reference from previous landlord, employer and credit check from tenant (this can take up to 3 working days)
  • Arrange signing of Tenancy Agreement
  • Collect moving-in payment (rent + deposit)
  • Key realise to tenant


Soon as we receive an interested party we will contact you with full details. We have your best interest in heart and will vet all prospective tenants. If you require further information we can provide this on request.

STEP 6 Tenant Referencing:

Support Move Ltd collect relevant documents from prospective tenants such as landlord reference, employer reference, credit check etc.


STEP 7 Safety Checks: 

You as a landlord will need to have the following in place before so your property is safe for a tenant to live in:

Gas safety, Electrical safety, furniture, furnishings regulations and smoke alarms. Please note all of these can be provided at an additional cost.

STEP 8 Inventory:

An inventory of the contents and condition of your property will be provided prior to commencement of the tenancy. This is inclusive when taking the Management Package or at an additional cost with any other package.

Please note: If you require a full colour detailed report this can be provided at an additional cost.

STEP 9 Utility Change Over:

Once the tenant has moved into the property a member of staff will change over any relevant utilities into the main tenant name. You as the landlord will need to cover any void periods.

STEP 10 Completion: Time to enjoy being a landlord.
